Programing encompasses a curriculum centered on personal and cultural empowerment including:


  • Word Sound Power/Affirmation Activation- Activate Self Love, Respect, and Belief, through Affirmation, personal Mission Statement Creation, Poetry, Rhyme, Song& Movement Expression. Through healthy Self concept and self esteem building centered around place and cultural identity in a local and global context.

 

 

  • D.R.E.A.M. Mapping & Goal Setting- Identify your D.R.E.A.M. purpose in life, and your personal life-style vision. This encompasses personal & professional goal setting, visioning, and implementation of accountability structures.

  • Cultural Geography & Glocal Identity- Explore current and historical civilizations, migrations and legacies of African and Indigenous people throughout the world in relation to our current lifestyles. Participants will view our daily lifestyle and habits to through the lens of environmental & Social Justice, earth stewardship, and Awareness of our individual and collective impact.

 

  • Intercultural Awareness, Equity & Understanding- tools, skill building, and learning to increase our capacity for humanity. Identifying personal agency in community and larger society to organize equitable treatment of others, access to opportunities, resources, and representation.

 

  • Mind, Body, InnerG Wellness – exploring, anatomy, tools of internal and external conflict mediation, modalities to regulate one’s physical, mental and emotional bodies ie. Mindfulness, TaiChi, Yoga, Nutrition/Dietary awareness. Healthy boundary and routine establishment


Educational (Edutainment) Packages 

GlocalSoul Edutainment programing is designed to work with middle schools, high schools, and college level students in courses such as Civics, History, Academic Success, and First-Year Seminar. GlocalSoul utilizes workbooks, individual and group sessions, as well as collaborative performance (music, visual, and performing arts) to deliver content. All services are intended to facilitate the following objectives applicable to professional/corporate learning universities, K-College learning environments, grassroots community organizations, or individual consultation. Services are available for larger scale presentations, including digital curriculum/study guide: (physical CWCM curriculum pre-order available) to pre order email [email protected]

Intended Outcomes:

  1. Empower and expand sense of self-esteem and identity as it relates to place through a cultural focus, fostering a culture of commitment and retention. 
  2. Increase global literacy through review of geography, local, and global traditions and culture for personal and professional growth.
  3. Streamline focus and align participants core values, current course of study/development, and professionalism increasing retention and  productivity.
  4. Develop local and global learning partnerships that stimulate collaboration in economics, environmental stewardship, artistic expression, and cross cultural understanding in a safe and culturally affirming environment.
  5. Foster a working understanding and basic platform to articulate the socio-political, environmental and economic factors creating local and global systemic inequality for people of color throughout the African diaspora, and highlight working strategies and solutions through social and restorative justice frameworks.
